Nice pet grooming kit for longer haired furbabies
Sadly I think this YTaraHub Cat & Dog Knotting Comb + Grooming Kit is too heavy-duty for my small, short-haired kitties. I guess I didn’t think this purchase through very well but it still deserves 5 stars for quality and value. It’s a very well-made kit with soft-grip, rubber-coated handles and rounded ‘blade’ tips but perhaps it’s more suited to detangle, remove mats, and reduce loose hair on long-haired cats and dogs. It comes with four high-quality upgraded knotting combs with hidden blades and one shedding comb to keep your fluffers fur happy, plus one twine ball that one of my cats loves to bat around the living room 😻.

Did not cut through my cat’s fur
I was excited to try these since my cat had some mats but these did not actually cut through my cats fur. Now I have 4 of these useless things.

Not suitable for large or deep mats
Maybe fine for small mats, it wasn’t usable for my cat’s undercoat mats. Had to send them back.

Good for dense coats, not as good for delicate ones
My longhaired cat was getting mats this summer and I have tried various products to get through them. This comb was a little bit too powerful for his delicate coat and was stripping off more than I wanted. I think this would work better on sturdier hair or on a pet with more hair to spare. It seems well made, and being a bit narrow makes it easier to target just problem areas. The added letter-opener style mat cutters will be nice to keep around the house to quickly attack knots as you discover them.
