Works great and smells great
These collars actually work great! I see them working better than the $70 ones you get at the vets office!The only drawback (to some) is that they are very pungent! But … I think they smell good! You may find them a little too strong if you get your face nice and close to your pets… but, its actually a good thing in my opinion. The fleas do not like the smell and that’s why they bail! You can tell when they are running out of strength by just using your nose (unlike the odorless ones that are most common)! It says that they last “up to 4 months” …. I highly doubt that. It’s been about a month since I put these on my pets. If the smell is the thing that gets rid of the fleas, then these will last about a month maybe a month and a half. The smell is not nearly as pungent as when I first put them on. But, This is a good thing in my opinion! The super expensive ones you get at the veterinarians office that run you $70 are odorless and thus you would not be able to tell when they are not working well anymore! It’s obvious to me that the $70 collars do not last what they claim either! You pet starts scratching and scratching … that means the fleas are back…period. These collars on the other hand have a tell tail sign of when they wear out… its the pungency of the collar themselves! I find this to be a huge bonus in my opinion. You can just use your senses to known when they are losing their effectiveness unlike the $70 ones. I find these to be absolutely great and they do work! I would recommend these to anyone with pets that have fleas.

broke too easy
I prefer all natural sprays and thought a collar would be an easy alternative. Unfortunately, my one cat became obsessed with the peppermint in this and it’s not good for cats, so I removed the collar from 24/7 use and started putting it on her an hour before a walk that would take us near wooded areas. In between uses, I kept it well sealed to keep the oils in it and so it didn’t dry out. Unfortunately, despite me being extra careful, it snapped in half in just a few uses making it completely useless as the pieces left are way too small for my XL pup. I expected better from Vet’s Best.

It really needed to be longer I think.
Should of measured better. The collar is nice but it’s still small for my dog’s neck. I can get 3 fingers behind the collar so it’s not tight.It does sits higher on his neck . To get the collar to stay it has to be pulled tight like a zip tie. It locks on the first for my dog’s neck.

It works and NON toxic. Better then the natural ones seen on facebook. I have tried them all. In fact the ones that we see advertising on Facebook do not compare to the vets best that I will now and forever use on my furbabies. The ones on Facebook I used and had no improvements with ticks attacking my dogs.Vets best WORKS FOR SURE! NO TICKS, FLEAS OR MOSQUITO OR ANY BUGS COME NEAR MY SWEET FURBABIES. I am beyond impressed. Plus it’s safe. No chemicals.I recommend the vets best dog shampoo as well. What a blessing these two items are.I will forever use them.Yes! I admit that I have had trouble w one or two of the colors being defective and breaking as I put it on. But company refunded w no questions if returned right away w receipt.I also have noticed that once collars are on, it is hard to remove them. But this is a good thing because they do not fall off.Thank you vets best for creating these magnificent collars.

Great for Fleas but Clasp Need to be Fixed
This flea collar works great my dog never has fleas or ticks but the clasp is terrible and each one I order gets less durable. I have been using this product for 2 years and they used to last 3 months- the latest one I got the clasp broke in two days. Unfortunately going to have to switch brands until this issue is resolved.

both collars broke in several places
They did not seem to be helping the fleas on our dogs. Admittedly it is a bad year for the little parasites. My biggest complaint is that two collars broke off rather quickly on two dogs that do not break collars, they are rather gentle dogs, so this was odd.we recovered the collars and both are cracked n broken in so many places they cannot be salvaged. a lot of money spent.

This appears to work great
I have an 80# dog that I just couldn’t get the few fleas around his testicles to go away with any other treatment. And let me tell you I wiped some flea repellent on them and he went nuts (lol). We spend alot of time outside on the farm and all over town and we really don’t have too much of a problem except in that area. He’s had the collar on for about a week and there are zero fleas in his nether region. He isn’t scratching or chewing at all. I’m really surprised. I didn’t expect it to work or expected him not to accept it. It has a very faint mint smell that is really nice. Also, I see others saying it broke and fell off but I haven’t had that issue and he is a protection dog and does lots of work outside and so far so good. It is very thin so I see where that could be a problem for dogs that have alot of first and are scratching non stop. I wouldn’t recommend this for strictly outdoor dogs with high infestation.

Buyer Beware
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I bought this collar because vets best products that I have previously purchased worked amazingly well. However this collar was delivered on April 2, I waited until after her next bath to put it on. On April 6, I put this collar on my dog and within 2 weeks it snapped in half!!! Totally useless, will still purchase the flea spray as I said earlier that and the itch spray are amazing!!!
