Eyes On Your Space Without Subscription Fees
As someone who’s always got a furry friend or two roaming around the house, I was really interested to try out this SOVMIKU pet camera to keep tabs on the chaos. And you know what? It’s actually a pretty solid little security cam, especially for the price.Let’s start with the good stuff: I love that there’s no required subscription or monthly fees to use the basic monitoring and recording functions. So many other pet/security cams try to nickle-and-dime you, but with the SOVMIKU, you can just set it up and start keeping an eye on things for free.The 2k resolution quality is also surprisingly crisp and clear, even when utilizing the 360-degree pan and tilt tracking. Being able to easily swivel the camera around gives great coverage of an entire room. The motion tracking works like a charm too – it dutifully follows my cats as they scamper about.The two-way audio is another nifty feature. With just a tap, I can pipe in to tell my dogs to get off the couch or congratulate the cat on another successful sock theft. The speaker quality is…okay? Not amazing, but gets the job done.Speaking of the speaker, that’s really my main gripe with this camera. Every so often, the audio starts bugging out with crackling static noises. A quick reset fixes it temporarily, but it’s a bit of a nuisance.But those little quibbles aside, I’ve been really happy with how well this SOVMIKU camera works for keeping watch over my pets and home. The tracking, video quality, and lack of subscription fees are all big wins in my book. It’s not fancy, but it’s an effective and affordable little monitoring solution!

Great small WiFi camera, high quality video
This is a good small camera that is perfect for my use to monitor inside my rv. Connects via WiFi and an app, so I can monitor my dog if I leave her in trailer. Itโs also small enough that it tends to hide in the corner so if somebody was to enter there is a good chance they wouldnโt notice. I choose the brand because I have the same brand POE cameras for my security system at home and the work very well. I would buy this brand again.

I bought this indoor camera to monitor our nursery and it has exceeded my expectations. The responsiveness is excellent, with very little lag when viewing live video or moving the camera. Easy to set up and connect to the router. The two-way audio feature is a big plusโI can both listen in and talk through the camera, which makes it easy to soothe or check in without being in the room.The picture and video quality are clear both during the day and at night, so I always feel confident that I can see whatโs going on. I also love the option to call directly from the camera app, which is a nice to have feature. Overall, itโs reliable, easy to use, and gives me peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Amazing for the price, just wish it had audio detection
THE PROS:-Very clear video-Quick motion alerts-Clear night vision-2 way talk-360 camera (perfect for any angle you want to set it up)-Good app that seems trustworthy-Great price point. You get 2 cameras for less than half the cost of other baby monitors.THE CONS:-No tablet, so you have to rely on your phone-No audio alert, only motion [this is probably the biggest con of this camera]-Has to be plugged in, and the charging cord it comes with is not very long. I had to order a longer one separately-Red lights are on all night (they aren’t terribly bright but still noticeable)-2 way talk is kind of quiet and choppy, even with the volume all the way up. I personally dont really use this feature, but something to note- Clicking when it adjusts to night vision. So if the room is at an in between point it clicks like crazy. It is very annoying for afternoon or grey day naps and has woken my baby up.-slow motion tracking. I turned mine off because it was delayed to follow if it did at all.Overall, its a very good and convenient camera for the price point. Honestly, for what these two cost i doubt you’d find better. If this camera had audio detection it would get 5 stars from me personally. The biggest perk and push for my purchase was that this app seemed trustworthy and isn’t owned by some Chinese conglomerate that asks for a bunch of information and shares with shady third parties. Its the same app for my outdoor cameras for simplicity purposes. Also, the price point was too good to pass up. I spent hours researching, bought and returned other cameras, and this was simply too good a deal.The only reason I’d get another camera is solely audio detection, so hopefully they update and add the feature or come out with a camera that offers that.

I have bought 5 cameras. Very unhappy to find out a BIG problem: 1) The software Insists on Upgrade to paying for Cloud Storage subscription. Does NOT Allow software function without monthly Payment. CANNOT bypass the payment screen to see what is visible through camera lens. WHY? Buying this Camera will tie you up to pay for monthly fee per camera for years to come in the future? The software seems to be generic “Smart Camera”. Why do people have to sign up for a monthly fee per month? Can someone assure me that I can just buy the camera, install it and no need to join and pay for monthly use of the camera? Right now, the opening screen ask me to sign up to pay monthly fees. No way to bypass the screen. 2). When a micro SD is inserted, it says it need to be formated, but it does not tell you what format should be used? How to format. Very upsetting!!
