Small camera but battery is minimal.
First off, the instructions were not as clear as they could be. This is a Chinese product with instructions written by someone born and raised in China. It took me a while to get it hooked up, but I was finally able to get it hooked up and paired to my phone. And I will say, once hooked to my phone, it has stayed online ever since. I have had it hooked for about a month and it is still hooked up.The camera is pretty small which makes it go just about anywhere, except the battery is the draw back. With the unit so small, so is the battery and it did not last long (about an hour). So I have been using it plugged into a USB adapter. The battery makes in convenient so you can move the camera around and not have it restart, but you can not rely on the battery for very long.The picture quality is not outstanding but it is adequate for most my needs. It does have a SD card slot, so recordings are saved to the SD card and can be looped to overwrite the oldest files. My 30 gb micro sd card holds about one weeks worth of files, recording 24 hours a day. The settings on the camera let you pick when it records, and the length of the recording. I have minute set to 15 minutes, so every 15 minutes it starts another recording. The file format is AVI.What originally concerned me about the camera was the amount ot heat it produces. It hovers around 115 degrees, which I thought was allot for a little electronic device. Not sure what that temperature will do to its durability. But overall, pretty decent for the price.

Nifty little camera
This is the right size for indoor monitoring without detracting from your decor. It was relatively easy to install once I took pictures of the microscopic directions and enlarged them on my phone. Resolution is far better than the previous 720 dpi cameras I used to use. All in all, I would say this is worth the investment.

W3 Compact Indoor Smart Home Security Camera
To say this is compact is not an exaggeration. It’s pretty small. This is on a level almost small enough to use as a hidden camera. Not easy to setup with the rough English instructions. I don’t think this is a good camera solution except in limited situations. The battery doesn’t last very long so you can’t just set it up and leave it be. That would be my main issue. I don’t feel like it is so cheap in cost that it is a better option than other cameras out there. That’s a pass from me.

Just labeled 4K it is only 1080P and nothing like 1gen very short battery life inconsistent recording very bad sound.

Security risk?
From other reviews I glean:a. short short battery lifeb. needing to be plugged in limits where you can place it, and it cannot be placed discretely if a charging cord must hang down.c. false advert. NOT 4Kd. Tired of Chinese apps; they are security risks. Many articles about IoT things going online like washing machines, baby monitors, air fryers!

Small but Very Capable
The PNZEO W3 Indoor Smart Camera is compact and assembled with no problems. The reason for the 4-stars was because it was a little difficult following the instructions to connect the camera to the app. I had to go out of the app and back in several times before the camera was recognized and appeared on my phone.The image is definitely clear and would be adequate for using as a pet or nanny cam. I actually use mine to monitor my front door. The size of the camera makes it easy to place in a location that is not obvious. If used without a direct connection to a power source you can expect the battery to last a couple of days, depending on how much activity takes place in front of the camera. Also, because of the small size, it is easy to reposition the camera in a new or different location.If you are seeking a small, inexpensive camera to monitor a particular item I would recommend the PNZEO W3.

Simple to use with high video quality
This indoor security camera is pretty small, only slightly larger than a USB flash drive. It comes with a USB-C cable to connect it to power, but you can swap it out for your own longer or shorter cable as needed. It looks like some of them come with a battery but if you want to record all the time, you’ll need to leave it plugged in of course. The video quality is pretty good, looks high definition to me and the colors are natural. You can also set up smart phone notifications on the app that will tell you when there is movement on the screen, which then will allow you to look at the video and see what is happening. I’m very happy with it and would order again. 5 stars.

No special symbols to appear in Wi-Fi name or password
I did not install the app. The user manual has a lot of instructions, but the font is tiny, and I had to use a magnifying glass to read it! Towards the end of the manual there is a “Note”, written in red, that states no special symbols can be in the Wi-Fi name or password, as special symbols may not be read. I charged it up, installed a micro sd card, turned it on and simply pressed the buttons to take photos and videos, in light and dark settings. The photos and videos came out fairly good in the light, but were not so impressive in the dark, however, I could see details captured that I could not see personally. I’m not sure how safe the app is since I didn’t install it. The user manual has some qr codes that allow you to watch the connection process, and the app is completely free for lifetime usage. If I had an old phone that I could dedicate this to, and if my Wi-Fi/password did not contain special symbols, I might have given this a try. I’ll keep it and maybe one day I’ll upgrade my phone , change my Wi-Fi connection and give it a try.
