Glides Through Thick Fur — Pricey, But Worth It
I’m not a pro groomer, but these Wahl Professional Animal KMC+ 2-Speed Cordless Clippers made grooming my goldendoodle manageable. They cut through his thick curly coat like butter. The motor stays powerful even in denser areas, and the cordless run time (around 2 hours) is plenty for a full grooming session. Wahl quality is exactly what I expected.What I liked:• Cordless or corded use, so you’re never stuck mid-groom.• Solid grip and well-balanced feel.• High-quality blades (#10 Ultimate/Competition) that stay sharp and cut clean.What I didn’t love:• Pricey compared to some other clippers, but the performance justifies it.What you may care about:• Noise level: Quieter than many clippers, which helps keep nervous dogs calmer.• Heat: Blades warm up with extended use, but not to an uncomfortable level.• Maintenance: Blades need oiling and cleaning after each session. AMAZING
These are the best cordless clippers that I have ever touched! They are amazing and worth every dollar, I will probably stick with these clippers until they stop making it or if I find another line of work. These clippers are pretty quiet, they’re not super quiet or super loud just perfect so that my dogs don’t get startled when I turn them on. The battery life isn’t the greatest when you’re doing multiple dogs in a day. In order for me to use it all day long/ not use the cord you would have to put it on the charger when the clipper work is done, which does not bother me at all until I am grooming 5+ dogs and I forget to put it on the charger then it dies in the middle of me grooming. All in all I loooove these clippers and will definitely recommend to everyone!

DON’T BUY
Buyer Beware! I purchased these the beginning of March to groom my 2 doodles. I watched and read so many reviews that these were great clippers for doodles. I received them, charged them up, and I was ready to groom my dog. First impression, they were very heavy in the hand… and you know if you’ve groomed a doodle, it takes a while! Continued on and the clippers were getting so hot I had to turn them off and cut my dogs hair in between letting the clippers cool down which is something I haven’t had to do with other clippers. This lengthened the time grooming my dog and was not ideal for the price I paid for these. A few days later my husband groomed our other dog because I wanted his opinion on the clippers and he had the same review as I did. Clippers are supposed to make your job easier and faster, and these just didn’t hit the mark. We ended up returning them and that’s where the real trouble started. It has taken them over 3 weeks to refund us. They keep delaying the refund and I’ve spoken to two Amazon CS employees and both of them lied to me saying I would be getting my refund in 3-5 days. One of them even sent me a fake refund summary, by copying and pasting my refund amount and sending it to my email to pacify me. Just want to warn others if you purchase these and end up not liking them, you might be waiting over a month for your refund.

Worked Amazingly Well!
Fan-freaking-tastic product! I’ve bought so many clippers (all corded) that I could have paid for this one 5 times over. None of them have been able to do the job I needed. I have thick-haired cats that get extremely matted all the way down to their skin. So I usually have to take them to the vet to have them anesthetized and shaved because the mats are so tight. They come back drugged and wobbly for hours, and I pay over $100 per cat to have this done twice a year. However, I decided to splurge and see if these worked. Boy did they ever! I was able to shave one of my cats in about 10 minutes with him just wandering around the bathtub. He actually seemed to enjoy it! They aren’t loud and didn’t startle him (he’s blind). They cut through the mats like butter and didn’t damage his skin – even on the tail. Plus the fact that there’s no pesky cord in my way was amazing! I have 2 Great Pyrenees dogs that I’m going to try next (just to get the mats out – I know not to actually shave that breed of dog). Fingers crossed they work as well!

I’m a dog groomer. Just received it yesterday and tried it on my personal dog today. This clippers work well and isn’t too loud but has lots of vibration and is a little heavy, my wrist is going to suffer doing several groomings a day. Maybe this one is defective. Going to contact seller and find out. The vibration is the worst part on my wrist. I also used a “used” and “brand new” blade to make sure it wasn’t the cause of the vibration.

Im a professional dog groomers. Only been using it a couple weeks. Its a good clipper, strong but the blades get hot very very quick. Make sure you are oiling them. Charge doesn’t last very long and its a bit heavy but still manageable. This is my first hand held clipper.

If you are a professional groomer who works quickly and handles 5-6 dogs in a day, I do not recommend purchasing this clipper.1. After just 2.5 hours of use, it no longer operates without the cord, which means you’ll end up needing to buy an expensive corded clipper.2. The blades heat up extremely fast! I had to change them three times within just 20 minutes.3. It is quite heavy, which can be uncomfortable if you’re using it for 6-8 hours.Overall, I cannot recommend this product.
