Great for small rabbits! (Not for adult cats though)
I bought this for a small female Lionhead rabbit (whos always naturally been very slender). Shes small for an adult female, even her dewlap is smaller than a typical female rabbit. I went to the petstore and looked at the “large” size. Its too small for a rabbit (unless you have a very small breed). Even the XL would be too tight on a larger breed. If you want one for a larger/heavier rabbit, I recommend looking elsewhere OR simply sew on more Velcro to the straps (it works great and still keeps them secure!).For my rabbit though, this is a great harness! The material seems strong and has a little stretch in it for comfort. I was worried about the neckline, but she didn’t have a problem with it. It didn’t constrict her. The slip around strap on the neckline gives me added security. She hopped around quite happily. The leash is short though (just pick up a longer one at the petstore or the dollar store). I cant imagine her being able to slip out of this harness. I couldn’t beat the price or the quality. Very happy!

neck is small
i ordered a large and even so i was not able to velcro it around my guinea pigs neck, its about 3 inches smaller around his neck then what i needed. my guinea pig is rather large but these should be made with bigger necks to begin with because guinea pigs are very big, they dont have skinny necks. it fits him overall though, but he manages to get himself out of it sometimes though. the leash is the pefect size to keep him right next to you. over all it was good but i expected better fitting.

Will not stay on our Dumbo rats…
The idea of this product is great. My daughter would love to take her rats outside for a change of scenery. However, no matter how many times we adjusted them, each of rats would shift backwards out of the harness within seconds. Rats just don’t have the mass in their shoulders or large enough “arms” to hold the harness in place. I have a friend who successfully uses this harness on a rabbit, but for us they are useless. I do not recommend this product for pet rats.

Doesn’t fit dwarf hamsters š
If you have a dwarf hamster you want to use this on, I would not recommend. It was very large on the little guy, even though I got the smallest size! Only buy if you have a larger animal, like a large hamster or ferret, not a dwarf hamster. Other than that, great quality harness! Very soft and padded which, I would imagine, would keep your little friend comfy and warm. I just wish they had color options as well, rather than sending you a random color. (I got red)

Cute and Comfortable!
I purchased this harness and collar for my bunny for outdoor playtime. I have an eight ft. high privacy fence but soon discovered he could slip under the narrowest opening of the fencing. This allows me to let him hop around outside, while being able to keep a better eye on him. The harness is very small. I have a Holland Lop (the smallest breed bun) and he is a baby. The harness is slightly big for him, turning somewhat as you hold the leash. It has velcro so you can easily adjust it. I have no doubt he will easily grow into this harness, but if you have a different breed bunny or larger type bun, this harness will not fit. It comes with a little bell on it which is nice. It allows me to hear where he is, if I am engaged in a book or otherwise occupied outside. He also has no issues having the harness being put on. It is lightweight and seemingly comfortable. It has holes in the fabric allowing it to breathe. Disadvantage: They don’t allow you to choose a size or color. They sent me a pink one for my male bunny. He doesn’t seem to mind!*Pic attached

Smaller than advertised
I bought this pet harness in the medium size for a Holland Lop rabbit. The harness measurements are listed as 6-8″ neck and 10-11″ waist. The actual neck measurement on this harness is 7″ including 1 1/2″overlap for fastening. There is no way I would put an adjusted 5 1/2″ neck opening around an animal with a 6″ or greater neck. The waist opening (9″) is also smaller than stated, although I could stretch it almost to 10″-again too tight for the stated waist size.I have used a similar harness for our Holland Lop escape artist rabbit. If the harness was the size I needed, I would be very happy with this new one I purchased. It is not the size I was lead to believe, so my other child has a new leash for the stuffed animals. Not a total loss.

Perfect for toy puppies
We recently bought a Papillion puppy, and she’s so tiny I was having trouble finding a harness to fit her. The smallest dog harness I could find was for a full-grown toy dog, so at the moment she can simply walk through it. I was complaining to friends when one suggested searching for a rabbit or ferret harness and that led me here.This fit our puppy perfectly, and though she pulled hard to twist around in an attempt to chew on the leash (and managed to reach it, too!) it didn’t unfasten. I confess I removed the little bell (as I fear it may have been alarming her) but even that was an easy process. The vest which arrived was a lime green, almost yellow. Very cute.I would definitely buy this harness again.

Eventually I will get a lot of use from this
I bought this for a lizard, but it’s too big just yet. When my Tegu gets a bit bigger i’ll get a lot of use from it. Very high quality. Very sturdy harness, I did a lot of tugging and what not. My step daughter uses it right now for her rat at her mother’s house and she says it’s very secure. So I probably have to order another one. The only downside is that I can not pick my own color.

In the past I used one of those slim ferret harnesses, the kind that look like a few strings and some clips. Every time I walked her she managed to slip out, even when I tightened it to the max. When I bought this I was worried that it might be the same, or that the velcro would be worse and come undone quickly. Nope! This is legitimately the best harness I’ve ever bought. She has never once slipped out unless the vest was loose. When I tighten the vest to the max to keep her from getting out, it’s not constricting like the other harness was. We got the yellow coloured one, and it’s great for visibility. The jingle bell acts as a good reminder of where she is, and it has a cute sound. I didn’t know about the elastic harness, but I would argue that it’s better than regular non-elastic ones. We had a retractable leash before, and it was fine but difficult to pull her back, since she tended to go flying when you tried to shorten the leash. On this one I can nudge her gently with a pull instead of dragging her along, and if she comes across somewhere too high for her to climb like a step, I can lift her up with it really easy and help her along. Whether you’re a new ferret owner or an experienced one, this would be my choice for a harness and leash.

Ordered medium size for my tiny rabbit.It fits well because she is so small, (the size of a large guinea pig). The vest itself seems fine in terms of the materials its made of, however the item did arrive faulty, the clip that fastens the harness around the neck was broken so I had to glue and fix that myself. If my rabbit were not so small and timid she would break the harness. Decent product for the price, but be careful when your pet is in it incase they break the clasp and escape.
