Delicious and nutritious, but not recommended for dogs w/ sensitive or missing teeth.
These lamb lung cubes are a really solid treat option and the quality shows as soon as you open the bag. They look and smell like real, clean lamb lung pieces with no weird additives or overly processed texture.Quality:The overall quality is excellent. Each cube looks natural and well prepared, not greasy or crumbly. They feel like a premium snack rather than a bargain filler treat.Ingredients:I love that the ingredients list is simple and straightforward. It’s just all natural lamb lung with no grains, no fillers, and nothing artificial. It’s a wholesome, single ingredient treat that fits perfectly into a clean diet.Durability:These hold up well in the bag and in your hand. They’re not so brittle that they shatter into dust, but they are a bit crunchy.. I personally wouldn’t recommend these for dogs with sensitive teeth or no teeth.Food Quality:You can tell these were air dried properly. They have a fresh, natural aroma and a texture that feels nutritious instead of processed. There’s no oily residue and no “mystery pieces” mixed in.Thickness:The thickness of each piece varies in a good way. Some cubes are thinner for quick rewards while others are chunkier and take a bit more chewing. This makes it easy to tailor treat size depending on your dog’s needs.Value:For a 5 ounce bag of single ingredient lamb treats, the price is very fair. You get a generous amount and the quality definitely matches what you’d expect from a more expensive brand. These last a while too since they’re dense enough that you don’t have to hand out many at a time. These lamb cubes are nutritious, clean, and well made, offering great value and a texture dogs really enjoy. A strong choice for anyone looking for high quality, natural dog treats.

My dogs scarfed these treats down!
These freeze dried lamb liver treats were a huge hit in my home with my beagle mix and my Jack Russell. Both went crazy when I opened the package and offered them. They were freeze dried solid pieces the size of a finger and they didn’t smell to me, but both dogs loved them and chewed them and scarfed them down in a minute or two! The package lasted us about a week giving them a piece each, each evening so it’s about on par for cost and package size for these types of products. (Caveat — As an Amazon Vine member I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.) For Quality and especially the way my dogs loved this product I give it 5 Stars.

pups approved
I recently tried Air Dried Lamb Liver dog treats for my dogs, a Cane Corso and a Pit Bull, and they absolutely loved them! As soon as I opened the bag, the smell really caught their attention. Both dogs couldn’t wait to get a taste. The treats are made from all-natural ingredients, which makes me feel good about giving them something healthy. I like that they are air-dried, so they’re crunchy and easy for my dogs to chew. I noticed that my pups were more excited during training sessions when I used these treats as rewards. Overall, I highly recommend these lamb liver treats if you want to spoil your furry friends with something they will enjoy!

safe for dogs, not recommended for cats.
On the package it says “product is irradiated, do not feed to cats”. I spent about 10 minutes researching into this because of course, I read this and thought OMG can my dog have these??!!! What is irradiated??. So moral of the story, irradiated meat is basically meat that has been exposed to gamma rays or electron beams as a way to kill bacteria, parasites and other pathogens. The process is safe for humans and most animals, just not cats as it has been linked to neurological issues in cats. So moral of the story, safe for dogs as the product intends. Now regarding the lamb lung itself, per the packaging, 100% lamb lung, which I appreciate. The pieces and texture were more firm than what we have had in the past with similar products. In the past, lung had been in like little cubes that if you squished them, basically turned to powder. These are more like dehydrated thin slices, more similar to jerky. We did cut the pieces into smaller pieces for our dogs and used some sprinkled over their dog food like a topper. Overall, they loved them!

Not good jerky
I have a service dog named Maggie Maye and I try to take very good care of her and give her good treats and supplements. When I saw this I thought it might be something she’d like and was still healthy. Well, when it arrived I was expecting normal jerky type treat that was still a little moist and chewy, this was not. It was like burnt and dry. Not appetizing at all. She would not touch it.

Dog approved lamb liver treats!
Unlike the freeze dried cubes we often get, these air dried lamb liver treats are more like hard strips of jerky. My dog loves them! I can’t smell them but she was interested in the sealed package right away. She is a medium fifty pounds Belgian shepherd mix, and she will happily carry a piece to her bed and crunch through it in a couple minutes. Perhaps be careful if your dog inhales their treats, as they are pretty hard, but we don’t have that issue with her. It’s nice to have the healthy single ingredient in a larger form for an occasional special reward.

Lab tested. Lab approved. But he doesn’t have to pay for them.
I like that they’re pure lamb liver. They’re more of a “yes I’ll spoil you” treat than a training treat (i.e. these are more like jerky sized). That is, I wouldn’t use these for action-reward based training. They smell good – almost minty? Where these fail for me is the price – they’re around $54 / pound. I could literally pay someone to cook actual lamb for me and still save probably $25-30 over the price of these. I’m not qualified to address whether these are healthy (although I see nothing that tells me otherwise); but if you’re otherwise feeding your dog a healthy diet, these are probably safe as an infrequent treat.Note: Many labs are missing the gene that tells them they’re full, so my lab will eat nearly anything. So he likes these, but he also likes investigating whether rocks are edible.
