I’ve used these for two years, changing every three months. Not perfect for ticks but zero flea problems

Did not really work for my cat
The smell is pleasant but the collar itself didn’t work and it is very expensive in comparison to others. I originally bought it after reading about the ingredients not being toxic and safe for pets but I was underwhelmed. I usually administer my cat with a flea pill treatment and a topical treatment and have him wear the collar as an added protection and he won’t show signs of itching. But this time he kept itching throughout. I will not be buying it again.

I was very skeptical and also hopeful about the performance of this flea collar. I was very happy to see that it actually does work on my three cats and one dog. I will definitely purchase this every year. I love this safe solution for pest control.

works better than you might think but for mainly indoor cats
we were surprised how well this works, but the cat wearing it rarely goes outside, it mainly protects her from the indoor/outdoor cats who wear better tick resistant collars[seresto]. We have no idea if it works as well against ticks because we have just had too many problems with less expensive collars against our crazy deer ticks.

Not sure it works.
My dog got fleas while on vacation so I wanted to protect my cats. I do use topical treatment but wanted an extra layer of protection. After wearing the collars for a week, I noticed a cat itching a lot. Brushed her yesterday with a flea comb and she had fleas. I was bummed. Pretty pricy for it not to work. Smells amazing.

NOT SAFE FOR CATS
NOT SAFE FOR CATS!I bought this collar to help treat fleas on my cats but instead she almost lost her life. We used the product as directed and secured them properly around their neck.The flea collar got stuck inside of her mouth, holding her bottom jaw completely open and she tried to rip it off herself but the collar is not breakaway and is incredibly hard to tear at to remove, we had to use scissors to cut it off. Not until she fully tired herself out from trying to fight off the collar were we able to get a good grip and cut it off. She was left completely exhausted and gasping for air, thankfully without any injuries to her body or neck from twisting and turning her body during the chaos. DO NOT BUY FOR CATS!!

Searching for a way to repel fleas in the south for indoor outdoor pets
In my region (the South) we need very effective treatments. We do not experience the seasonal freezes that kill fleas each year. So we have to rely entirely upon effective flea treatments. Not only does the flea medicine have to be strong enough to kill fleas, it must be conveyed by the collar consistently into the pet’s bloodstream to be able to produce an effect. In the case of this collar, it seemed to me that the problem with this item is that the collar did not properly convey the essential oils into the bloodstream of my cats. So I am still looking for a product that will use safe effective topicals to fight fleas AND will provide a way to deliver the product into the pet’s bloodstream in a reliable consistent way.
