High Quality: Perfect for the Longer Corse Variety of Short Hair
If you have a short haired cat or dog and are considering this product you must recognize they need brushed too, not only to remove loose hairs but to remove the undercoat.In my experience with 4 different short hair deshedding tools, this Deeuchis brand deshedder is a good quality tool best used on slightly longer and corse short hair. I personally have a corse haired mix breed dog, with short hair on her legs, and this tool worked really well to remove the loose hairs without pulling or dragging. Some other short hair de-shedding tools I have rely on closer set teeth w/ variegated direction to grip or grab and fine and /or very short hair that would slip through the strait teeth of this Deeuchis tool.I also have a cat with very fine strait hair with an undercoat. I tried this Deeuchis de-shedder on her and while it did remove some of her loose hair, by comparison, closer set teeth de-shedders worked better on her.I’d also like to share, this tools well thought out details: the size, shape, type of wood, and finish used for the handheld portion are on point. My hand is on the large size for a woman and this is a great size for my hand. This type of wood although Im not sure what it is, possibly oak, has more weight than others I have used. The weight of the wood as well as the feel of the fine finish sanding and satin top coat make the experience of using it, a cut above the rest.I’ll finish by adding, if you are buying this for DIY brushing on a shorthair that you own or you professionally groom a number of short hair dogs/cats the experience you have using a tool is just as important as the outcome on the dog. Consider the cumulative hours you may spend holding your tools and weigh that into all your purchasing factor decisions.

Decent, but better for small to medium petsThe brush works well on my cat and smaller dog, but I found it less efficient on my large, thick-coated dog. The wooden teeth do remove loose hair, but it takes longer than I expected.It’s still a nice, natural grooming tool and much more eco-friendly than plastic brushes, but for very large pets, I’d recommend a larger version or pairing it with another brush.✅ Eco-friendly and gentle⚠️ Small size for large pets⚠️ Slower for thick coats

I had heard amazing things about an equigroomer from several online influencers. So I bought this DEEUCHIS wooden deshedding tool to groom my double coated dog. Although I have other types of brushes and fur remover, this was the best. For years, I had groomed my dog with expensive and a wide variety of grooming tools at home thinking it was the best I can do . However, my dog still did not have the post grooming looks of a show dog or some of the dogs groomed on popular social media . Now I know why. This wooden brush is amazing. It took care of his undercoat. It gently loosened and brought out his dense undercoat. A lot of this undercoat, even with regular at home groom, was still attached and gave a shaggy look. This tool completely changed the look of my dog. I can see his natural coat color shine through without pops of the white undercoat marring the pristine coat. It also helped minimize floating fur. I would highly recommend this brush for any dog, even those with short coat. It does a phenomenal job. This was the one tool that I was missing for years and now I cant believe Ive finally figured out what it was.The other thing I liked about it was my dog absolutely loved the brushing with this deshedding tool more than all the other brushes. He was so relaxed and even fell asleep while brushing when normally he is a little tense during grooming. He even wanted to be groomed more.The only negative I can see is the wooden handle part is a bit bulky and can be hard to hold . But its do able.

A Hit With My Rescue Dog
I got this brush to groom my ever-shedding cats. Most of my cats aren’t thrilled with brushing and most of the ones who do just tolerated this brush. My cat, Frodo, absolutely loved this brush and I was a bit horrified by how much hair I was able to get out of him.But this brush really shined yesterday when I tried it on my most recent rescue dog. She’s some sort of pitty-type dog with short hair that always seems to be shedding. I don’t know if she has ever been brushed before, but she lived for this brush. I got a huge Pitty Smile from her as I ran this brush up and down her neck, back, and sides. I spent 20 minutes brushing her. I grabbed the brush today while sorting through grooming supplies and her ears raised when she saw it in my hand. I had to stop looking for what I was looking for and give her another good brushing.My only real complaint is that I wish the teeth were a millimeter or even two longer to get through the longer tail hair. But if a rescue dog says she likes it, then I saw the product is good for me. This brush will get a lot of use, so I’m glad it’s sturdy, easy to hold, easy to clean, and slips so easily in my travel grooming bag.

A MUST FOR ANY DOG OWNER THAT HATES SHEDDING!
I live in Arizona and have a German Shepherd/Husky mix pup…. straight away, you know that my dog has been shedding like crazy all summer with the heat. We try our best to brush her everyday to help get rid of her excess undercoat, but I still find myself vacuuming every single day because the shedding is crazy. I have never used a tool like this before and was a bit skeptical, but THIS THING WORKS! The amount of hair I was able to comb out from her undercoat was insane! Especially in places where her coat is thicker and the hair is longer, it has been a game changer.My dog wasn’t too sure about this tool at first as I think it does pull on her hair a bit, but she has become used to it. I have noticed a decrease in the amount of dog hair on my floors.The quality is great and the price is great! I would pay anything to avoid the shedding and vacuuming everyday and this has been it. I so recommend it!
