Wyze Cam Pan v2 cannot connect to Wi-Fi network?
1. Check that your phone or tablet is on a 2.4 GHz network.
2. Forget all Wi-Fi networks, restart your phone/tablet, then reconnect to your 2.4 GHz network.
3. Power cycle your Wyze Cam Pan v2.
4. Force close the Wyze app, then open it again.
How do I factory reset my Wyze Cam Pan v2?
1. With the Cam plugged into power, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds.
2. Wait at least 30 seconds for the unit to initiate.
3. The LED status light on the device will change from Solid Red to Flashing Red.
Wyze Cam Pan is not connecting after a firmware update?
1. Power cycle the camera by unplugging it for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
2. Switch to a different power cable or adapter.
3. Plug the camera into a different power outlet to check the power source.
4. Attempt a factory reset.
The camera cannot detect the microSD card, or is not backing up properly?
If you suspect you have a bad microSD port, check the contents of the microSD card on a computer to make sure that the card itself isn’t corrupted. If it is, try reformatting the microSD card and testing it in your camera again.
My Event videos have no sound on Wyze Cam Pan v2？
1. Make sure that Record Sound is turned on.
2. In the Wyze app, tap on your camera and let the live stream load.
3. Tap on the Settings icon, then tap Advanced Settings.
If “Record Sound” is on, toggle it off and back on.
If it’s off, turn it on.

Best cameras ever!
We have been using these Wyze cameras for years and love them! They are so easy to set up! We have them at our shop, home, and vacation home. Only one has stopped working and that was due to a lightning strike. They are so easy to view on your phone and zoom in on people, vehicles, etc. And they do a great job recording events when you subscribe to CamPlus. Thank you!

Overall good cam for my pets
I use this to check on my pets when I’m gone for a long time. There are times it suddenly loses connection and there’s no way to reset it as the option in the app never works. You have to literally unplug and replug it for it to reconnect. Well, when you’re not home, can’t do that! So that’s my only complaint. I thought it was my wifi, but I have since gotten a new faster wifi and my other cameras don’t do this.

Product stops working shortly after the amazon return window closes.
This camera works great for the first two months. I purchased the subscription for CamPlus to record events such as motion and pet. I placed the camera in my kitchen window to monitor my back yard. Not only would it shut off for 5-6 hour periods but it would also just stop recording some major events. For example, my car was broken into along with a garage directly behind where I park. it simply recorded the man checking for unlocked doors and then shut off for 4 hours not recording the break ins. it also failed to record very important instances of my neighbors dog trespassing which is the SOLE reason I got this camera as the police told me to install it to have video proof of the large dog trespassing off leash in order to give a citation. the worst part is that the company refuses to work with you, their products are trash and they simply do not care, I’ve tried to call and after being on hold for hours they simply hang up. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE PRODUCTS ESPECIALLY SINCE SAFETY IS AT RISK.

This is my 4th Wyze camera, and loved them. Unfortunately this one failed. BUT Wyze stepped up and sent me a replacement was fast and easy. quite happy will be using more of their products

GET this v2.0 before they are are gone. The v2.0 have free features that you need to pay for in v3.My son loves this for his new apartment. He can literally see the WHOLE apartment (very wide angle) except Bedroom & WC. He can use it to interact with his pet while he is at work.He also uses it to monitor the movements of his landlord during the monthly inspection.The camera is VERY good at NOT falsely alerting him while his pet is moving. He can easily & instantly move the camera from work if he needs to.The monthly fee to save all the recordings ( in case an incident happens) is dirt cheap – at less than $3/month.Highly recommended.

We got a new puppy and I bought this to be able to see her when we went out and it is perfect. Very clear visual at night and it tracks her around the room. Fantastic camera and so easy to use.

In LOVE with this camera, which we’re using as a baby monitor. VERY glad we didnt spend more for another video baby monitor. However, first one “bricked” when we ran the firmware update. No complaints as Amazon refunded and replaced it right away.Recommend to use an old phone or tablet to look after the baby as you won’t hear what’s going on in the nursery if you have the app minimized on your phone while using other apps.

Picture is fuzzy. Camera disconnects constantly. I bought this to watch my puppy and it is completely Undependable Very disappointed. I have only had it a week. Can’t go out thinking I can keep an eye on her because it keeps shutting down. Also creates noises that are not in the room. What a horrible purchase this was.
