I have a 23 year old turtle, Charlie. Before I got Charlie I researched turtle tank, food , water filters and cartridges and water conditioners. Charlie was just a youngster when I got him. He was in rough shape. It was so important he had the Best Products to start out his life, He has. This water conditioner along with proper diet, turtle tank and the proper turtle tank are all a plus for him. The water conditioner is a Great Value for your dollars. Easy to purchase and easy to us.

A Necessary Treatment for Tap Water if You Have Reptiles or Amphibians
Great value and reputable product – as a repeat customer and a reptile rescue, Clinton Critter Care recommends both the product as well as the seller! This is an absolute must-have product for anyone using tap water to water or mist their reptiles or amphibians as it removes toxic chlorine and chloramines from the water as well as leaving an emollient for healthy skin. The best water for your reptile is distilled water, however if you only have access to tap water, if you do not use this or a similar product — and we have found this to be the best product on the market – then your reptile or amphibians WILL die or suffer from chlorine toxicity. So if you use tap water, simply add a tiny bit of ReptiSafe to the water to make it much healthier for your reptiles or amphibians. This is a large amount that is meant for large collections or for commercial businesses. If you have over 20 reptiles or amphibians this is a great size, otherwise you might want to get a smaller amount, as you only need one teaspoon per gallon of tap water to use.

Definitely worth it!
I really like this product for my turtle tank. It’s messy when using it, but that’s not much of an issue since it’s going into the tank anyways. The smaller bottles I don’t think are worth the price especially if you need it for a bigger tank. So this product is perfect! Also it helps with the slime coat on amphibians & fish. Adds calcium & electrolytes to the water. It gives your animals all the extra good stuff they need.

This is great for conditioning water for your turtle tank i use this every time i add water into my tank. For this price and size your better of getting this then getting a little 3 or 5oz bottle which for my opinion is to pricey .. Have in mind its important to add this to your turtle tank every time you add water. since there are things in the water like chlorine and other chemicals this condition it to be safe for your turtle .. make sure you don’t add to much and read the back of the bottle for exact amount needed based on tank size and water amount.Updated April 17,2013.. I still highly recommend this for your turtle tank .. Price is great and value overall is great for the amount you get .. its been years & im still using the same 640z bottle. Will buy again when needed .. Thank you amazon & zooMed

Good value but no seal on bottle
A little spillage in transit due to no safety seal on bottle but was wrapped tight with tape. Beats buying small bottles if you have multiple animals

great for refill of smaller bottles
I have 3 whites tree frogs and a bearded dragon. This is great to have on hand as a refill for the smaller bottles, as I swap their water daily. This thing is huge and will probably last me a year or more if I had to guess. Great value!

Today I checked my container of reptisafe and felt it was time to purchase more since I don’t want to run out for a water change. The price for this caught me off guard but since I purchased it before I checked to see how long ago I bought this. I last bought this in Apr 2021! Great size! Very safe for turtle tank- 55 gallon. I don’t like that its hard to use- leaky to pour, but it works well to reduce food and poop waste. I do small maintenance clean ups 2 times a week and with this bottle I don’t have to take out the python hose and do a complete water change more than once a month now.
